Vertical Solar Slew Drive Description
Slewing drive device is also called rotary reducer, gear reducer, turntable reducer, slewing mechanism and so on. They are all types of reducers that use slewing bearing as the main support, and the auxiliary drive source uses gears or worms as transmission components to realize the functions of deceleration and full-circle rotation. The composition of slewing drive mainly includes gear (or worm), slewing bearing, motor, casing and base. The slewing drive can be basically divided into single worm drive slewing drive, double worm drive slewing drive and special type slewing drive. Single worm slewing drives are generally used in solar photovoltaic systems, and double worm slewing drives are used for applications requiring high torque, such as port machinery, construction machinery, etc.
